Does Hair Extensions Australia have an exchange or return policy?

Yes we do. We will happily provide customers with the option to either exchange their hair extensions for an alternate set, or a refund providing that the hair extensions have not been opened, worn, or tampered with. It is a rare occurrence that customers wish for a refund due to our extensions being of such high quality, but if required we are happy to offer either an exchange or refund if they HAVE NOT BEEN OPENED.


The hair extensions can be removed from the bubble wrap to determine the colour, length and style, but cannot be taken out of the plastic packaging if customers wish to return them within the 30 day return window.


Why are Hair Extensions non-returnable if opened?

Human hair extensions are regarded as being a hygienic product and due to health and safety issues we do NOT accept returns if they have been opened. This is to ensure that our customers receive hygienic hair extensions of high standard and quality.

This is a very common policy among many hair extension suppliers.


How does your return policy work?

For customers who wish to return their hair extensions for either an alternate set or a refund, we require them to contact us via email (info@hairextensions-australia.com.au). Once we have received an email we will advise the customer how they may go about returning the hair extensions. All returns must be returned in a similar fashion to which they arrived (wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in a box) and we require that the customer include a copy of the email transcript so that we can process their return. Once we have assessed that the hair extensions have not been opened or tampered with, we will send out an alternate set of your choosing or provide a refund for your purchase.


Do I have to pay for the shipping of my return?

Yes the customer is responsible for postage costs. Please ensure that your package has a tracking number attached to them, as we are not responsible for lost items.


How long do refunds take to be processed?

We will happily provide customers with a full refund once we have received our hair extensions back in the post, and have assessed that they have NOT been opened. The refund will be made into either your pay pal or credit card and usually takes 2-3 business days for credit cards and is instant when paid into paypal.
